Amongst the upheaval of the COVID-19 pandemic, BGS Utilities have remained responsive and in regular communication with clients. This includes escalating certain time sensitive projects for developers where property handovers were imminent and preparing designs to allow the commencement of new projects at the earliest possible opportunity.
Following recent changes in Government advice, and robust risk assessment, it has been deemed that a re-mobilisation of our workforce is appropriate. Strict measures have been put in place including social distancing and robust PPE provision to ensure the safety of our employees, their families, our customers and our suppliers.
Managing Director, Jonathan Hopkins issued the following statement:
“We recognise that we are a key part of many developers’ projects and are a major part of the supply chain of a successful development. a number of our clients are returning to site, and we believe the responsible action is to re-mobilise the workforce to support them at this time – as long as it is done safely.
We will continue to work closely with our clients and suppliers and support them where needed in order to help them to achieve their goals. At BGS Utilities, we have a robust business plan which places us in a strong position to be able to continue to provide the high level of service expected of us, from tendering to construction.
